Daytona drive-by

Back in February, the captain and I spent a day at Daytona Beach. A chilly day. It was too uncomfortable to walk around so most of my photographs were from the car, but that never slows me down -- I still managed to capture oodles of photographs. Surprised? Of course not. Drive-by-shooting IS one of my photographic passions.

After watching Hell's Kitchen tonight I turned away from the television and starting perusing through the Daytona Beach images and settled on three for some Photoshop fun. After much fussing about, I applied a final edit to each photograph using the Pioneer Woman's "Vintage" action. I hardly ever use that particular action but, tonight, I found it quite pleasing. You can find her actions (all free) in the Photography section on her web site; click HERE for a direct link. While these actions are three years old now, they work in CS6 just fine. I hope you give them a try.

Clever use of the vintage vignette. That first photo makes me sad. Didn't they take her in and help? I will definitely try this technique.
